Biopsy samples from normal human kidney tissue were incubated in 80% methanol for 0.5 h, 1 h, 4 h, 8 h, 16 h, 24 h, and 48 h. The extracts were processed for metabolomics analysis. The number of metabolites detected following each incubation time is shown.
