P values have been corrected using the Benjamini–Hochberg procedure for multiple testing. Each cell type and disease is involved in at least two associations with q<0.1. Cell types and diseases have been clustered using complete-linkage hierarchical clustering. Additional file 9: Figure S5 contains the complete set of associations identified.
