The Cancer Genome Atlas Clinical Explorer homepage. The web interface provides three different ways of navigating TCGA data. a Users can inquire about the clinical relevance of specific genes, miRs, or proteins identified by elastic-net analysis. This is done by entering the (i) gene name, (ii) cancer type, or (iii) clinical parameter. b Users can examine if a somatic alteration behaves differently between categories in a clinical parameter and in a cancer type. c Users can investigate how a genetic event affects another alteration in a selected cancer type using the two-hit hypotheses test
