  1. * Fetal appurtenances abnormality refers to abnormalities of the placenta or amniotic fluid or umbilical cord observed at birth. The placental abnormalities include morphological abnormalities (small placenta, large placenta, battledore placenta, velamentous placenta, etc.) and functional abnormalities (placental degeneration, necrosis, infarction, aging). Amniotic fluid abnormalities include abnormal amniotic fluid volume (polyhydramnios or oligohydramnios), hemorrhagic amniotic fluid, and amniotic fluid contamination of II° and above. Umbilical cord abnormalities include morphological abnormalities (thin, spiral, etc.) umbilical cord around the neck more than one circle, single umbilical artery
